Since 1982, the Foundation has been promoting philanthropy by providing a simple, safe, and efficient way for individuals, families and businesses to invest in Santa Cruz County and beyond. Founded in 1982, we provide individuals, families and businesses with ways to make giving simple, powerful and personal. We offer professional advisors resources and tools to help you meet your clients’ charitable goals. We are committed to strengthening the local nonprofit sector and each year offer grants, workshops and resources to hundreds of local organizations. We are a tax-exempt public charity serving people who share a common interest to improve the quality of life in Santa Cruz County, and beyond, through philanthropy. Through the Community Foundations National Standards Board, we are certified as operating with the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
