New Way Homes, Inc.

New Way Homes is a local non-profit that operates an impact investment fund to help solve the Monterey Bay Region’s housing crisis. Individuals, employers, and foundations are investing in the NWH Fund, which then enables the development of mission-driven housing projects. NWH primarily supports the development of new mixed-income, infill apartment complexes. These projects create affordable rental housing without government construction subsidy, workforce housing, and in some cases permanent supportive housing. In this way, we hope to spur the development of right kinds of rental housing, near jobs, to improve the diversity, environmental sustainability, and economic vitality of our region.
