Acton Academy Santa Cruz

Acton Academy Santa Cruz is an independent, learner-driven program serving ages 4–18. We empower young people to find their calling and change the world through a blend of entrepreneurship, leadership, mindset, academics, and character development. Our learners work at their own pace through mastery-based academics, engage in hands-on quests and apprenticeships, and participate in Socratic discussions that build critical thinking and communication skills. Each learner takes ownership of their education by setting goals, tracking progress, and holding themselves and their peers accountable within a supportive community. Located in Midtown Santa Cruz, our studios offer both full-time programs and a one-day-a-week Art and Nature program on Fridays called ArtTerra, which connects learners with creativity, community, and the natural world. At Acton Academy Santa Cruz, education is an adventure. Every learner is on a unique journey of growth, purpose, and discovery.
