The purpose of the Santa Cruz County Chamber of Commerce is to promote economic vitality and prosperity. We value a healthy and productive economic community. The Chamber is one of several crucial business organizations in Santa Cruz County that bring people together, connecting and informing our members, and acting as a catalyst for positive change. The Santa Cruz County Chamber’s focus is on local Santa Cruz area issues and policies. While we may join with others to advocate for state or national policy in areas of local Santa Cruz County concern, (e.g. education, local tourism, regional land use, water and transportation policies, state and local governance) the Chamber dedicates its efforts to matters in which it can have the greatest influence at a local Santa Cruz area level. We are approaching the fall season where the Chamber has set many opportunities for members and residents of the greater Santa Cruz County to participate in small, medium and larger events — connecting business to business, business to customer and forming network opportunities that show Santa Cruz County’s best in show. Here is our fall lineup: On Thursday, August 24, the Santa Cruz County Chamber joins our chamber partners at an all-county Chamber led by the Pajaro Valley Chamber and Agriculture and hosted by Specialized Aviation. Join us for an evening of networking, mingling and meeting new and old friends from all six Chambers in the county. Enjoy touring the great event space at Specialized Aviation. There will be discounted helicopter rides, appetizers, beer, wine and raffle prizes. This is a Women in Business-themed summit with the intent to make it a premier event that brings together a network of diverse women who are breaking down barriers, making themselves visible, and manifesting their careers —while making a difference in the world. We have an excellent lineup of speakers who have great stories to share about their career paths. We are excited to reimagine this Chamber event with a day of listening, learning, and community-building where you can engage, influence, and thrive.
