Kaiser Permanente is partnering with The Coastal Watershed Council in their ongoing goal of transforming the lower San Lorenzo River into a community destination by inspiring people to explore, enhance and protect this critical natural resource. Date: Monday, January 21, 2019 Time: Breakfast and volunteer registration starts at 8am. Plant 500 native plants along the riverbank to rehabilitate the environment and prevent erosion between the Soquel Ave Bridge and the Broadway/Laurel St Bridge. Remove invasive plants and weed around existing plants We will break for lunch and enjoy a picnic along the river. Meet in the parking lot at: 270 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
