Curious how a memorial forest works? Take an educational walk through the forest with our Forest Guide team. See available trees in summer glory, where we mix ashes with soil, and what memorial markers look like at a tree. Availability is limited, secure your time for a free guided walk. What to expect An easy hike: our local Forest Guides will take you on a 1.5 mile loop throughout our memorial forest. You are welcome to continue to explore the forest on your own at the end of the guided walk. Bring a friend or family member: your registration is free and includes an extra person, so bring along a loved one to enjoy the forest with you. Learn about the forest on a guided nature walk, including: the different species and wildlife in the forest, the action we take to maintain and protect the forest, and the conservation impact of choosing a memorial tree. A peaceful experience: enjoy the tranquility of our memorial forest for yourself, from serene groves to stunning riverfront vistas.
