His photographs have appeared in every major newspaper in the United States. Shmuel spent much of 2020 documenting the CZU August Lightning Complex fires, Black Lives Matter actions, the election and the pandemic for the Sentinel. His photograph of Santa Cruz Police Chief Andy Mills and Mayor Justin Cummings went viral and was seen by millions.&lt;/td&gt;

Kevin is currently staff photographer for Lookout Santa Cruz, shoots for Growing Up In Santa Cruz and previously shot for the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Kevin is also an Emmy nominated director/producer.&lt;/td&gt;

			&lt;td style="vertical-align: top;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Joy Flynn &lt;/strong&gt;serves on the Second Harvest Food Bank board of trustees and is a friend of the Walnut Avenue Women&amp;rsquo;s Center (auxiliary board). Most recently she has begun work with the county&amp;rsquo;s criminal justice council and is on the CARES Justice Council enacted by Supervisor John Leopold and is a panelist for Neighborhood Courts, the county&amp;rsquo;s restorative justice program. Joy is a founding member of the Santa Cruz County Black Coalition for Justice and Racial Equity. In 2020, she led the first peaceful action in the City of Santa Cruz after the public execution of George Floyd, which received national attention and began a movement for awareness and change needed in our community. Joy is a recipient of the Officer Jim Howes Community Service Award and a Jefferson Award Honoree.&lt;/td&gt;

Currently, Rachel teaches journalism at Cabrillo College and lectures in Community Studies and Science Communications at UCSC. As a fire survivor, she is honored to have been included in the 2020 Hindsight project.&lt;/td&gt;
