Join us as we bid farewell to the Santa Cruz streetcar trolley, which will be replaced with electric shuttles starting Summer 2020. When: Monday, September 2 2019 Time: 11am - 12pm Where: Civic Auditorium Parking Lot, 307 Church Street. Bring the whole family! --Mayor's Proclamation honoring the many years the trolley has served the City of Santa Cruz. --Photo booth in the back of the trolley. --The first 100 people to attend will get custom-made trolley lollies. --All attendees receive a free trolley ride coupon. --Other refreshments TBA. September 2 is the last day the trolley will run, so be sure to catch a ride after the event. Trolley runs from 12pm - 8pm. It's been a good ride, trolley. BON VOYAGE!

On September 12-13-14 we will embark on a visit to another central coast region of Ventura, Oxnard and Santa Barbara to learn how that region is working to produce lasting effects to preserve their environment with key focus on economic development.

If you traveled with us on the 2014 CLV, we will revisit Santa Barbara/Goleta and see the progress they have made in their entrepreneurship on the south coast and re-development in the area.

A full travel itinerary is in planning process. Please click below for a tentative internerary (subject to change)

This year we are limiting our tour group to one motor coach (48-54 travelers) leaving Thursday morning, Sept. 12 from Cabrillo College Parking Lot K and returning Saturday late afternoon/early evening, Sept. 14. Reserve your ticket now to secure one of our limited seats!

Registration Includes:
Roundtrip motor coach tour, two night hotel accommodations and all meals during the CLV trip. All incidental expenses are the responsibility of each participant.

Court Appointed Special Advocates are everyday people, trained by CASA and then appointed by judges to speak up for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers spend a few hours a week getting to know a child and gathering information from everyone involved in the child's case. Come to an information meeting to see if this is the right volunteer opportunity for you.
