Ecology Action is excited to announce Bike Month is kicking off on May 1st, and we are inviting you and your business network to be a part of it! We are going live and pushing out Bike Month this week. To help the community's mission of less GHG emissions through health, fun and low cost transportation -- we are going big, like really big, for this year's Bike Month. There will be a $7,500 cash prize, a Gazelle ebike, employer prizes, and more! In addition to community favorites like Bike to Work + School, we're rolling out a Bike Month Challenge, and a whole month of awesome bike events to inspire and keep beginning and experienced bike commuters riding through the month.

The bowling alley has rails that go up automatically for any bowler that requests, making it easier to bowl. There will be a “lucky draw” contest for all bowlers and snacks too! Don’t have an entire team? Don’t worry! Sign up as an individual bowler and we’ll place you with other awesome people. We need your help to raise money for Shared Adventures!

May Topic: Tribalism 102: Tribalism, Media and Social Media This Conversation takes a look at the relationship between tribalism, news sources, and the public good. At its best, social media strengthens positive ties within social groups (tribes) and facilities the sharing of special life events. But there can be a darker side to the intersection of social media and tribalism. Tribalism is defined by the behavior and attitudes that stem from strong loyalty to one’s group. While people on the left and right may disagree on many things, they often agree tribalism is bad for our politics and bad for our country. Although most people want communities where people are treated with respect, respectful interactions often are not what we experience in the media. How do we become more informed consumers of news and social media? Space is limited. Registration is required.
