Seascape Beach Resort announces Inaugural Mad Hatter’s Holiday Tea Party
Seascape Beach Resort and Toys for Tots have partnered together to sponsor an inaugural holiday afternoon tea party in the spirit of giving back to those who need it most this time of year – our children.
Imagine a festive Holiday Tea Party with Alice, the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter!
The magic of the season will come alive in our first annual “Mad Hatter’s” Holiday Tea Party, based on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, will take place at the Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos on Sunday, December 13, 2009, from 2-4 PM in the afternoon.
Bring a gift to donate for a deserving child and fall down the rabbit hole and join us for a festive and whimsical holiday tea including a buffet of petite sandwiches, sumptuous pastries, hot chocolate, coffee and, of course, tea, with these beloved storybook characters.
Delight in magic tricks performed by the Mad Hatter himself, regale in the wondrous stories read by the Queen of Hearts, all the while laughing to the music and antics of local legend accordionist The Great Morgani. Photos for children with their parents and the Wonderland characters will be available at a very nominal cost and a no host bar will be serving specially created drinks for the children as well as the adults attending this fabulous occasion.
To further the magic of the event all net proceeds will be donated by the Seascape Beach Resort to Toys For Tots of Santa Cruz County. Additionally, guests are asked to bring an *unwrapped toy or a monetary donation for Toys For Tots.

The cost for this wonderful affair is:
$29 ages 13+; $18 ages 2-12 (covers cost of food with all net profit donated to Toys for Tots; excludes service charge & tax). Reservations required by Friday, December 11th and can be made by calling (831) 662-7126 or by buying tickets directly at Seascape Beach Resort, Seascape Flowers, or Hopscotch children’s clothing store, all located in Aptos.
*For every two guests attending, please bring at least one new unwrapped toy. High needs are for children up to 3 yrs old, and girls 9-12 yrs old (soccer balls, art sets, boardgames, etc.) Please avoid guns or toys of aggression, and for health reasons Toys for Tots cannot accept unpacked stuffed animals.
