Man in the Iron Mask by Andre Dumas
By Scott Wentworth • Adapted from the works of Alexandre Dumas • Directed by John Sipes • Performed in the Festival Glenn

The Musketeers are back! Only older. Aramis, Porthos, Athos and D’Artagnan, long since retired from their heroic endeavors, reunite in a final pursuit of glory to oust King Louis and replace him with his twin brother, the man in the iron mask. Join the Musketeers for one last mission, filled with fantastic feats, daring adventure, and broad humor. Written by Shakespeare Santa Cruz Associate Artist Scott Wentworth, Santa Cruz audiences will be the first to see this world premiere! Experience live theatre amongst the majestic redwoods. The Sinsheimer-Stanley Festival Glen is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful venues in the nation.

Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
By William Shakespeare • Directed by Marco Barricelli • Performed in the Mainstage Theater

Shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria, and fearing that her brother has drowned, Viola disguises herself as a man. In short order, she falls in love with the neighboring Duke Orsino – who loves the Lady Olivia – who loves the disguised Viola! Mistaken identity. A hilarious love triangle. The ultimate in Shakespearean comedies. It’s been seven years since Twelfth Night has graced our stage, so don’t miss the return of this highly-anticipated comedic masterpiece! The UCSC Mainstage Theater has seats on three sides of the stage for an intimate viewing experience.

About Shakespeare Santa Cruz

Shakespeare Santa Cruz is a professional repertory company in residence at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Our Festival was founded in 1981 and continues to be held annually each summer at UC Santa Cruz. Plays are held indoors on the UCSC Theatre Arts Mainstage and outdoors among the redwoods in the Festival Glen. Bringing in professional actors, directors and designers from throughout the country, the Company's season runs from mid-July through August and features three to four plays presented in repertory. Hailed by USA Today as “one of the nation’s top ten most influential” Shakespeare companies, SSC interprets the works of William Shakespeare through a contemporary lens and introduces our audiences to the newer work of American playwrights.

Santa Cruz Chamber Networking Mixers are held each month. Mixers are a great place to network in a social atmosphere, and hosting a mixer provides an opportunity for member businesses to showcase their locations, products, and services. If you are interested in hosting a mixer, please contact membership@santacruzchamber.org or call the Chamber at 831-457-3713.
