Robert Gibbs, retail analyst, will be making a presentation at the Sept. 27 Santa Cruz City Council meeting.

Robert Gibbs’s Market Retail Analysis highlights the remarkable opportunities for growth and development of four commercial areas of the City of Santa Cruz: downtown, the Eastside retail corridor, the Mission Street to Harvey West Westside, and the Beach and Wharf area. An overview of the study and its public policy implications, this session will emphasize Gibbs’s recommendations to the City to improve the retail environment in the four studied areas.

The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The current agenda packet is available for reference use at the Central Branch Library. Regular Council meetings are televised on Comcast Community TV, channel 25.
