Loma Prieta Winery will be hosting a Release Party for their 2009 Chardonnay on September 10 & 11 from Noon-5pm at the winery.  In celebration, the 2009 Chardonnay, regularly $29 per bottle, will be on sale for $23 per bottle ($20.70 for wine club members).

The 2009 Chardonnay is a single-vineyard Chardonnay from Redwood Hill Vineyard located here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Golden in the glass, it exudes a rich note of golden apples, butterscotch, golden raisins, a hint of tropical fruits, and a whiff of wildflower honey. Lush caramel  and butterscotch coat your tongue and linger on the finish. It was barrel aged for 8 months in 100% French Radoux oak.

Live music will be provided all weekend by Asher.  Please feel free to bring a picnic, play a game of bocce, and enjoy the amazing view!

As always, wine tasting is only $5 per person, and one tasting fee is refundable per bottle purchased. Wine Club members taste for free.
