Women in Business will host its small-meeting networking series, Caffeineighted, Thursday, September 3, 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office, 611 Ocean St.
Our next session will be September 3, where we will finish our technology series with Karen Kefauver on "How to use Social Media Effectively".
Following-up on the delightful presentation by the Karen Kefauver talking about Twitter. Karen’s discussion of this social-media staple was cut-short by the denial-ofservice breakdown of Twitter August 6. A packed house was intrigued by the in’s andout’s of disseminating marketing communications by‘tweeting’. You don’t need to have attended the previous session. Karen will start at the beginning of how to make Twitter work. This reduced-price Caffeineighted-litewill include coffee and bagels. This continuationsession is priced at $10 for all participants.
Karen Kefauver is a professional freelance journalist who has also served as a media consultant since 1996. Prior to that, she worked as an editor at Good Times newspaper for two years. Limited to 30 participants, the session will also include introductions and conversation. A light breakfast will be served. The cost is $10 for all.
Caffeineighted is held the first Thursday of each month. Caffeineighted is an outgrowth of the Chamber’s Women in Business programs, designed to create a more intimate atmosphere and an opportunity for teaching and learning.
