The Third Annual Santa Cruz Restaurant Week is scheduled for October 5-12, 2011. The event offers diners a three-course, fixed price menu for one week at participating restaurants for $25 (not including beverages, tax or gratuity). The $25 price includes a choice of entrees, appetizer and dessert and each restaurant will offer three options for each course. This is an opportunity for Santa Cruz County restaurants to showcase traditional or new menu items to new and returning customers.
The Goal of Restaurant Week: Restaurant Week is an opportunity for the restaurant community to promote as a group and get the word out about the culinary excellence throughout Santa Cruz County. It’s a great way for restaurants to get their name out to the public and showcase the appetizers, main courses, and desserts they have to offer. Restaurant Week is great for introducing a restaurant to diners, giving diners an excuse to visit a restaurant they’ve been eager to try, and/or enticing diners to revisit one of their favorite places. If diners are experiencing a restaurant for the first time, restaurant week is a great way to get them coming back for more because they get a chance to dabble in three decadent courses.
A full list of participating restaurants and their menus will be listed on the SantaCruzRestaurantWeek.com site three weeks prior to the event.
