This festival was started in 2009 as an event that features genuine sea glass and ocean art while benefiting our wonderful ocean. Since 2009, over $10,000 has been raised toward ocean conservation!
This year, 10% of admission fees will be donated as charity to the building of the new Sanctuary Exploration Center in Santa Cruz. This donation will support the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary whom is dedicated to educating people about the preservation and conservation of our amazing Oceans. Last year we had a record breaking attendance and almost 40 amazing artists! We are working hard to advertise the event throughout the Bay Area and California and are in negotiations for acquiring more space within the Grove for ocean and sea glass educational exhibits as well as additional food and drink specials. The Prize Piece contest will be held on Sunday with $1000 in prizes being awarded this year! We hope you can join us!
