On Saturday, September 17th, the single-largest volunteer event on the planet will take place in your very own backyard at 83 sites in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.
We're shooting for record-breaking volunteer numbers this year, so be sure to register online today!
Annual Coastal Cleanup Day 2010 brought together 6,043 volunteers in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties to prevent nearly 20,000 pounds of pollution from entering our Sanctuary in just three hours. We need YOU to make 2011 a triumphant effort, so bring your family, friends and co-workers to Take Action for our oceans this September 17th!
The success of Annual Coastal Cleanup Day depends on you. Join us! We assure you it will be fun, easy, and completely rewarding.
Volunteers can participate at their favorite beach, at underserved inland and river sites, at kayak cleanups in the open water, and even underwater at a SCUBA cleanup. Together, with school groups and local businesses, we will work together to create cleaner, safer beaches while supporting a healthy, thriving Monterey Bay.
