Ever wonder how budget decisions are made in the City of Santa Cruz or about the impacts of those decisions? Have you ever participated in budget discussions? The City of Santa Cruz wants you to engage in the Fiscal Year 2012 Budget process.
The City Council will be considering and adopting the budget for the upcoming fiscal over two meetings in June and July. The Council invites community members to a workshop on Tuesday, May 31st to help residents understand the issues and complexities of adopting our budget. The workshop will be hosted and led by Vice Mayor Don Lane, City Manager Martin Bernal and Finance Director Jack Dilles.
