Summer features a West Coast Premiere performance from composer Behzad Ranjbaran with pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet. It also features U.S. Premiere performances from composers Elena Kats-Chernin and Shuko Mizuno and World Premiere performances from composers Mark Adamo and John Corigliano.
The event begins at 8 p.m. at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and is followed by a talkback session with Marin Alsop, composers, and a guest artist.
