This SCORE workshop (known previously as our monthly How to Start a Business in Santa Cruz County Workshop) helps people understand what it takes to successfully start a small business. The workshop is intended to help new and early-stage businesses get started by presenting a broad brush overview of the subjects that will impact the success or failure of that business such as Startup Myths, Personal Factors/Management, Business Opportunities, Marketing, Business Plans, Organization, Funding and more. The SimpleSTEPS Workshop Series consists of five individual workshops: Start Up Basics, Developing Your Business Idea, Marketing Planning, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting, Funding and Next Steps.
