‘Scrappy’ Kimberly Wiefling:
Kimberly Wiefling will speak on The Art and Science of Making the Impossible Possible at the Women in Business Luncheon, June 4, at Chaminade.
Kimberly was a star of the 2007 Women’s Leadership Forum where she introduced her book, Scrappy Project Management. The book has developed into a soon to be launch series of Scrappy guides, reflecting Kimberly’s success at “making things happen.”
An international speaker on management, Kimberly spends nearly half the year consulting overseas. Her remarkable background… a physicist by training and for fiteen years an executive and project manager in Silicon Valley… provide the underpinning for her work. But it is Kimberly’s contagious, positive attitude and a tough-minded approach to solving problems that differentiated her as consultant and teacher.
As Kimberly notes, “We all have a list of great ideas and we all have a tendency to say, ‘Oh, that’s impossible’ about them. The truth is everything is impossible until we do it – or our competitor does.” Kimberly will make you laugh in ways that break through the confusion, fear and exhaustion to give you the scrappiness to make what you want possible.
