Event Description: Join the Coastal Watershed Council in making a difference in the lower San Lorenzo River. As a River Health Day volunteer, you will help with planting and caring for native plants as they grow and create habitat along the river and learn about this unique river ecosystem. We recommend that all volunteers dress in comfortable gardening clothes, include long pants, socks and sturdy shoes. Bring sun protection or rain layer depending on the weather and be sure to bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
