Event Description: The Santa Cruz Education Foundation announces the opening of the nomination period for the 2017 Eddy Awards on Wednesday, February 1. The nomination period closes on Friday, March 17. The Eddy Awards provide an opportunity for the community to recognize the outstanding commitment made daily by the dedicated educators, staff and volunteers of Santa Cruz City Schools. Persons interested in submitting a nomination should use our nomination form which can be found here. The Foundation will announce the Eddy Award winners on Monday, April 17. The Eddy Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 2 at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center, with a reception starting at 6:00 p.m., and the award ceremony following at 7:00 p.m.
