 - Do you want to attract people who have historically stayed outside your doors? nina_simon_book_cover_2016
 - Do you want to make meaningful connections with them once they come inside?
 - Do you want to manage the conflicting values of insiders and outsiders?
 - Do you want your work to matter more to more people?

Join museum director and author Nina Simon for a stimulating conversation about how you can make your work more relevant to the markets and communities you seek to engage. Together, we will explore the deep meaning of relevance—what it is, what it can do, how to measure it—and how relevance can fuel change to make your work more powerful and valuable. This talk features rags-to-relevance case studies, honest conversation about conflict and culture change, specific tools you can use, and a bit of theory to ground it all.

The Participatory Museum (2010), The Art of Relevance (2016), and the popular Museum 2.0 blog. Her work has been shared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, NPR, and TEDx.
