Event Description: We're kicking off the 2016 season with a Derby Double Header! First, a home team match-up from our talented junior league, the Santa Cruz Derby Groms, will pit the sweet-but-deadly Sugar Skulls against the bone-shaking Bumper Scars. Then, reigning adult home team champions the Steamer Janes will take on underdog challengers Organic Panic. It's surfer-cool blue versus biohazard green—wear your favorite team's colors and don't miss the opening battle for the 2016 Home Team Trophy! Tickets range from $16-32 and go on sale February 3 at santacruztickets.com. Kids, student, and group pricing available. Schedule: 4 pm -- Doors open 4:30 pm -- Santa Cruz Derby Groms Sugar Skulls vs. Bumper Scars 6:30 pm -- Steamer Janes vs. Organic Panic
