This event is sold out. The Annual Member Lunch, January 20th, 11:30 to 1:30 at the Cocoanut Grove will feature both declared candidates running for California's 20th Congressional District election, 2016 - Democratic candidate Jimmy Panetta and Republican candidate Casey Lucius. Jimmy Panetta, currently a Monterey District Attorney prosecutor, is the likely Democratic nominee and Casey Lucius, a Professor of National Security Decision Making at the U.S. Naval War College until resigning to run for Congress, will most likely represent the Republic party.
The Chamber has asked candidates Lucius and Panetta to discuss their vision of the Federal government’s role each of four compelling local issues: housing, transportation, education, and economic vitality.
The Annual Lunch will also introduce the Chamber’s 2016 Board of Directors, recognize significant 2015 contributors to Chamber efforts, long-term members, and highlight significant 2015 accomplishments.
