Event Description: Join us for an informative introductory workshop on electric vehicles and other types of alternative fuels. Whether you are in the market to purchase or lease an electric vehicle or other type of alternative fuel vehicle or a recent owner, this workshop will provide you with all you need to know! We will be covering the following topics: * Rebates and incentives available * Types of alternative fuel vehicles and their associated benefits * Available vehicles on the market today * Operating characteristics * Vehicle comparisons for purchase and lease * Workshop Format & Highlights: Drop-in anytime between 11am-2pm Brief 20 minute optional presentation from 12:15-12:35pm highlighting alternative fuel vehicle types, availability, characteristics and more There will be a number of vehicles available to test drive including the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt, Volkswagon E-Golf and more. Lunch will be provided There will be a number of local experts representing various alternative fuel types including electric vehicles, fuel cell, Compressed Natural Gas, Biodiesel & Ethanol that will be tabling at the event. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions, collect informational handouts, and meet experts and local owners.
