Event Description: Santa Cruz County Bank Arts Collaborative has partnered with Pajaro Valley Arts Council to present Through Our Lenses. In this photography exhibition, six local artists offer a glimpse into the culture and lives of people living in the diverse countries of China and India. Please join us in September for an art reception and Pajaro Valley Chamber mixer to celebrate the opening of this extraordinary new show. The mixer will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Santa Cruz County Bank, 595 Auto Center Drive in Watsonville with food by Barbara & Company Catering. All proceeds from the mixer raffle will benefit Pajaro Valley Arts Council. Through our Lenses will be on view at Pajaro Valley Gallery Aug. 27 through Oct. 12 and at all five Santa Cruz County Bank locations Sept. 5 through Jan. 9. Exhibiting artists include Mary Altier, Elyse Destout, Shmuel Thaler, Pual Titangos, Carol Trengrove and Mark Wainer.

The Santa Cruz County Bank Arts Collaborative is an outreach effort to promote professional artists and art education by providing exhibiting artists with promotional assistance and by mounting public exhibitions in its banking offices throughout the county. In 2007, Santa Cruz County Bank received the ArtWORKS Emerging Business Award granted by the Santa Cruz Arts Commission for its support of the arts.
