A new concept parlour is set to open in Santa Cruz in October that will marry vintage style and service with modern technique for a fully immersive experience. Deluxe Beauty Parlour will focus on elegant hair styling (think pin ups and pin curls), and beautiful eyelashes.
Owner James Fisher, who also owns The Cosmo Factory Cosmetology Academy, says his vision for Deluxe is to create a beauty parlour where service is king and the clients feel like royalty.
The parlours of yesterday functioned as a social club as well as a place of pampering. Every detail of the interior design has been carefully thought out so that when you walk into Deluxe, you step back in time to a more graceful, glamorous period. The color scheme and amenities are vintage but the services are cutting edge. DeLuxe will also feature a full-service Lash Bar with eyelash enhancement services to suit all occasions- from daily wear to elegant evening looks.
Deluxe Beauty Parlour and Lash Bar will be a place of timeless elegance where you can stop in on your lunch break to augment your lashes or come in the afternoon to prepare for a night on the town. This will be a place you want to meet up with your friends and socialize while the talented staff work their magic.
