Event Description: Chicken Intensive Pound for pound whole chickens cost less than purchasing the individual parts. And as a bonus you can save the backs and wing tips and make your own delicious chicken stock. In this workshop you will practice cutting up a whole chicken and make chicken stock from scratch. While the stock is cooking we will create a scrumptious chicken dish to enjoy for dinner! (In the interest of saving time we will employ the pressure cooker method to make stock; it takes about 1/4 the time of the stove top simmer method (this will be reviewed), uses less water and less energy).
