Event Description:
3D Modeling + Printing 3D-printing has proven itself as a paradigm-shifting technology, and now you can use it in your classroom! Use Blender, a professional-level open-source 3D design application, to visualize and design parts for fabrication. Turn your ideas into reality and prototype your creations faster and more accurately than ever before! Classroom Applications: -Visualize and print scans of fossils and artifacts -Learn the basics of 3D design and print the result -Embark on a inter-disciplinary product design project Three sessions (with an hour for lunch): July 30th-August 1st, 9am-2pm
