Information Session - March 5, Museum of Art & History Explore the ancient lands of Java and Bali with the Santa Cruz Chamber and Pacific Harbor Travel. Beginning May 4, 2014, you will have twelve days to immerse yourself in the art, culture, and history of these South Pacific Islands... and in the luxurious accommodations of some of the finest resort spas and hotels in the world. We'll visit several UNESCO World Heritage sites including the ninth-century Borobudur Temple (the world's largest Buddhist monument) and the 1,200 year-old Prambanan (one of the world's largest Hindu temples). Professional guides will take us to visit Balinese artists studios, some dedicated to traditional folk art, some exploring European-influenced contemporary art. And will tour Bali's world-famous crafts villages each dedicated to a different craft such as stone carving, jewelry, batik, or wood carving. Consistent with the cultural "tempo" of Bali we'll leave time to luxuriate at the Maya Ubud Spa & Resort, named the best spa in Southeast Asia, nestled in lush foot hills among waterfalls and streams. And we'll stay at one of the world's truly great hotels, the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel, a favorite of heads of state and celebrities from around the world and a Condé Nast Gold List property on the gorgeous southern beaches of Bali. You'll have an opportunity to extend your stay with three nights in Singapore, one of the worlds emerging tourism destinations and already the most prosperous cities in Asia. (Extension cost is $446 and approximate taxes and fuel surcharge is $20.)
The price for this travel package is extraordinary: $3,390, double occupancy.
