Event Description: The MakersFactory Homeschool Club is a perfect addition to any homeschooling curriculum! Eight weeks of technology-oriented and computer-based activities will keep students engaged as they learn and participate in a variety of MakersFactory offerings. Subjects to be covered include: 2D design with Inkscape – Create custom stickers and decals. (Dec 2nd, 2013, Jan 6th 2014) Game Maker – learn how to customize and design video games from scratch. (Dec 9th, 2013, Jan 13 2014) LEGO Mindstorms – Build and program a robot to perform simple tasks. (Dec 16th, 2013, Jan 20 2014) It is not a requirement for your child to be homeschooled in order to attend. If it works for their schedule, feel free to join! We are an approved vendor with Ocean Grove Charter School. Please contact Ocean Grove and request that send a PO to MakersFactory for their homeschool club if you would like to use Ocean Grove funds.
