The R. Blitzer Gallery is showcasing the art of twenty local luthiers' high end guitars as well as a photographic exhibit of the luthiers in their studios! Come see the "Humanitar" crafted by Fred Carlson and pearl inlay by James Patterson. Also meet the authors of From These Woods and Santa Cruz County guitar makers Renee Flower and Jim Mackenzie. There will be a raffle for a copy of their book, and autographs will be available! Bring plenty of business cards and join us for an evening of food, drink, and networking at the R. Blitzer Gallery. About the R. Blitzer Gallery The R. Blitzer Gallery is the consummate art gallery located n the west side of Santa Cruz, California in a renovated warehouse space that for years made Wrigley Gum. Next to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Natural Bridges State Park and the UC Santa Cruz marine science campus, the gallery is the ideal location to attract art lovers from the local community as well as the San Franisco Bay, Silicon Valley and Monterey Peninsula. The Gallery, with 19 foot ceilings and natural light, permanently features the bronze sculpture and paintings of owner Robert Blitzer. Themed shows with visiting artists are scheduled on a regular basis and the immense space is ideal for art receptions, theater groups, poetry readings and other special events.
Santa Cruz Chamber Networking Mixers are held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5 - 7 pm. Mixers are a great place to network in a social atmosphere, and hosting a mixer provides an opportunity for member businesses to showcase their locations, products, and services.
