WomenCARE’s 17th annual Strike Out Against Cancer Bowling fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 26th at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk Bowl. Help support WomenCARE, a local organization providing free support services to women living with any type of cancer – and their family and friends -- since 1992. Form a team with your friends and family and come on down! No bowling experience needed. All levels and ages are invited. This is a fun non-competitive event to raise awareness about WomenCARE and to raise funds! Each five member team collects pledges and then bowls one game. If you don’t have a team you can register just yourself and we will find a team for you. There are three sessions between 1:00 to 5:30 pm. There are trophies and refreshments for everyone, a silent auction and lots of great raffle prizes. Plus, it’s a great venue to preview your Halloween costume! If you can’t bowl this year but still want to support our fundraiser you can become sponsor, donate a raffle prize, or make a donation to Strike Out Against Cancer.
