Event Description: Celebrate the Red Gala
Champagne Reception + Live Music + Silent and Live Auction

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
 
Join us as we Celebrate the Red: 115 years of American Red Cross in Santa Cruz County. We depend on the generosity of donors, individuals, businesses and foundations to support the efforts of the Santa Cruz County volunteers. We train. We mobilize. We connect donors and volunteers to those in urgent need of a helping hand.

The 2013 Humanitarians of the Year Award will go to Mary and the late Richard Solari for fostering a magnificent philanthropic tradition funding community projects including the Computer Technology Center at Cabrillo College, the Mary and Richard Solari Cancer Center at Dominican Hospital, and is one of the original founders of the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County.
