We will explore using WordPress.com to create a free website or blog. This class is for beginners. Learn how to use a blogging platform to bring visibility to your business, non-profit, special event, club, hobby, or whatever! You don't have to be a blogger or a writer. We will discuss best practices and tips for successful use.

Class will include a live demonstration showing how to set up and edit your own WordPress.com website or blog. Instructor Sara isenberg is a web consultant who has helped folks get started on WordPress. Please visit http://saraisenberg.com/.

Although laptops are not required for this class, you're welcome and encouraged to bring one.

Register at Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation, class #14019:
1. Go to https://online.activenetwork.com/SCInstaReg/Activities/ActivitiesAdvSearch.asp
2. Click on "Special Interest" on the left.
3. Check the left side box "Available for Registration."
4. Select NextSpace as the "Location" on the top left, and you will see the two classes.
5. Click on "Show Courses" and click the "Add" button.
