Celebrate the season at the Chamber’s annual holiday mixer, co-hosted this year by the Museum of Art & History at the McPherson Center. Traditionally our biggest networking event of the year, this year we will feature the Museum's exhibit of toy trains in the atrium and raffles to benefit local non-profits. The model train exhibit will include model trains and layouts from the 1920s to the 21st century. The Mixer will feature fine wines from Vino Cruz and 3 food stations featuring Riverview Farms Catering, Local Harvest Catering, and Lifestyle Culinary Catering – the principals behind the new Front Street Kitchens.

Our mission is to strive to prevent cruelty to animals, to stop pet overpopulation, to promote community responsibility and for the humane care, treatment and well-being of all animals through adoption, education, information, and action. When the Santa Cruz County Animal Services Authority was formed in 2002, they took over the animal control contract with the county of Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz SPCA became a private agency, focused on humane education, animal rescue, and community support. As a result of the SPCA's shift from a public-funded service to private agency, the only funding they receive is in the form of private donations.
