MJA specializes in Napa Valley Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc and Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir. Owner Marin Artukovich got his start in Kona coffee in 1990 and after 16 years moved to Napa Valley to focus on wine. He bought an estate on Howell Mountain and renovated it. Soon the ocean called and the new Tasting Room was opened in March 2010 with local Cathy Bentley, who also has a background in coffee, marketing and small business management. Soon they recruited local winemaker, Mikael Wargin, to join their team. They will be planting Pinot Noir on the Santa Cruz Mountains vineyard in the Spring of 2011.
