Join us as we kick off Seabright Brewery's silver anniversary weekend of celebrations with ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 17th. Come for the celebration of 25 years in business as Santa Cruz Mayor Hilary Bryant and Santa Cruz Vice Mayor Lyn Robinson cut the ribbon at 5:30. Stay for dinner and enjoy live music by Seabright Brewery's most popular band, The Joint Chiefs, on Friday night after the ribbon cutting. The band starts playing at 6:30 pm, and there's no cover charge.
And, for the first time in 25 years, Seabright Brewery is canning their beer and making it available for sale. The new brew is called "Blur" and you can take some home starting this weekend. The celebration continues with an all-day party on Saturday, featuring a bluegrass band during the day and Extra Large playing at 6pm.
About Seabright Brewery
Located on Seabright Avenue, one of Santa Cruz’s most happening neighborhoods, the Seabright Brewery features a selection of regular brews, as well as 3-8 seasonal hand-crafted micro beers on tap. All of their carefully hand-crafted, brewery fresh ales are made using only water, malt, yeast, and hops. Their brewmaster uses the finest two-row Harrington pale malted barley, specially roasted barley malts, hops from Oregon and Washington, and select brewers yeast to produce beers right on the premises.
Chamber Ribbon Cuttings are a great way to connect with other Santa Cruzans and support local organizations getting a start or new beginning right here in Santa Cruz County. The Santa Cruz Chamber is happy to celebrate your grand opening or re-opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. If you are interested in hosting a ribbon cutting at your business location, please contact the Chamber at membership@santacruzchamber.org or 831-457-3713.
