May 25-26, 2013
Located at Steamer Lane, this event is the longest-running longboard contest in existence, in addition to being one of the largest. It's also a benefit for several local charities, including the Junior Lifeguard Program, Ride-A-Wave, Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Association and the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.
Longboarders from across the state take over Steamer Lane this Memorial Day weekend, as over 100 contestants compete in the longest-running longboard surf contest on the West Coast!
Win prizes in the infamous Santa Cruz Longboard Union mega-raffle, and cheer your favorite local surfers as they compete against some of the best longboarders in the state.
Proceeds from the 2012 event benefited Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services and Ride-a-Wave Foundation, Inc. Additional donations will also be made to the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.
