Design & Thinking Series
York School kicks-off its annual Think Forward Forum and Fine Arts Weekend with a film screening of “Design & Thinking” on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7:15 p.m. This 74-minute documentary examines how business people, designers, social change-makers, educators, scientists, and others are inspired by design thinking to propose, test, and identify creative solutions to 21st Century problems. In addition to the film screening, York School will host a forum, open to the community, on the topic on Friday, April 26, 2013. A panel of creative professionals, including accomplished York alumni, faculty, and Molly Wilson of Stanford's d. school, who will further discuss the topic of design thinking and how it applies to fields from education to technology to science and more.
