The United Way and Project Homeless Connect (PHC) are pleased to invite members of our business community to witness what our community is doing right now to address the issue of homelessness. There are so many positive developments!
Please join us for a VIP Tour and Lunch: This year Paul O'Brien of PHC will offer a special VIP tour of the event for downtown merchants and other representatives of our business community. This tour begins on April 9th at 11:30am at the Box office of the Civic Auditorium, and will be followed at 12:15pm by lunch-provided and served by volunteers from a collaboration of local churches. The lunch offers a unique opportunity to sit down and share a meal together with some of the participants in a more relaxed setting than we might usually interact.
RSVP: If you or your colleagues woud like to join United Way and PHC and to see what's being done today to end homelessness in Santa Cruz, please contact Jessica Wolf, Community Organizer, United Way of Santa Cruz County at jwolf@unitedwaysc.org or 831-465-2203 M-Th and she will make sure you get a special invitation and welcome to this VIP tour and luncheon. Please feel free to contact Jessica with questions or if you would like to discuss any details.
