Fallen Officer Fundraiser
In response to the tragic deaths of two of Santa Cruz's finest police officers, Woodstock's Pizza is planning a fundraiser on March 25. 50% of all sales that day will be donated to support the families of Sgt. Loren Butch Baker and Detective Elizabeth Butler. “Since we have been part of Santa Cruz’s community we have had so much support from the police department and the city," states Woodstock's General Manager, Shanalee Lewis. "We wanted to do something tangible to support these families as they struggle with this heart-wrenching loss. This is a small way that we can support the Police and all of their families who know that their loved ones risk their lives every day in their jobs.” Woodstock’s Pizza is holding the fundraiser Monday 3/25/13 from 11:00 AM to closing at midnight. They will also be setting up a donation box to give directly to the families of the victims. All orders for dine-in, pick-up and delivery will count toward the fundraiser.
