Twenty one years ago the Santa Cruz Blues Festival began as a way to honor the uniquely American tradition of blues music in the ultimate music-lover's setting: a gorgeous natural Redwood amphitheater with intimate staging and world-class concert sound. Two decades later the SCBF has become a destination showcase for not just the luminaries of this uniquely American form of musicianship, but for modern artists who credit their path with the heritage of the blues.
In an unprecedented celebration of music and natural splendor, the Santa Cruz Blues Festival stands alone in bringing world-class artists together for a two-day musical bonanza in one the most beautiful venues in the world.
