Event Description:

Gears & Gadgets: For kids aged 9-12

Watch and work with a great variety of gears, learning how each is used in today's world.  Experiment with basic mechanisms like gears, pulleys, and levers to complete challenges, learning how energy can be changed.  Learn about the Planiverse, a 2-dimensional world developed by mathematician A.K. Dewdney, and invent mechanisms that would work in a 2D universe.
