Kevin Wheeler, who spent years as an HR Executive in global corporations and for nearly two decades has been a sought-after international consultant and public speaker, will discuss the fundamental changes in the skills and work-styles necessary to be competitive, the relationship between “talent” employees and their employers, and the evolving structures of business required to succeed. About Kevin Wheeler
Kevin Wheeler's consulting practices takes him all over the globe where he sees, firsthand, how the impact of economics, education, diversity, and age affects talent and how it is valued and appreciated. He has worked with dozens of global corporations as well as smaller companies helping them develop talent management and recruitment strategies as well as advising them on the appropriate technology for recruiting and learning. He is the author of hundreds of articles on talent management, career development, recruiting, human capital, and leadership and on corporate universities and learning strategies. He has been writing a column on recruiting issues for ERE (www.ere.com), a leading source of information for recruiting professionals, since 1998. He works in a wide variety of countries including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Thailand, The Netherlands, Canada, Chile, and Italy. Kevin spent years as an HR professional in global corporations working in countries all over the world. He has had his own consultancy since 1998. He has also served as adjunct faculty at the University of San Francisco and on the business faculty at San Francisco State University.
