On Saturday, October 27th, Santa Cruz Derby Girls' Boardwalk Bombshells will battle it out versus SoCal Rollery Derby at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium at 6:30 pm in the last home bout of the 2012 season. SCDG provides the skills training necessary for participation in local, state, national and inter league competition and is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). In addition, SCDG is dedicated to joining forces with local organizations to provide volunteer support, and our volunteer efforts have aided multiple organizations in Santa Cruz.

Since inception SCDG has donated over $24,000 and over 650 volunteer hours to more than 32 nonprofits, schools, and community groups. SCDG also reaches out to our local youth through the Santa Cruz Derby Groms, our junior derby program and junior ref program. As SCDG continues to expand we look forward to representing Santa Cruz on a national level as a Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) member league.
