Mark Hoover of Mark Hoover Training

Mark has been in business in some form or another since he was 15 and published his first book. By the time he was 40 he was CEO of an international industry-recognized graphics arts company, and has had several businesses between and since. Currently he has Vision Print & Promotions and Mark Hoover Training and has been a coach to businesses and entrepreneurs for over 10 years. In addition he is the creator of the Ignite Your Business 2-Day Intensive and the 6-Figure Ignition Pack and CEO Rope Partner Annual Memberships, as well as two web applications for small businesses- the Marketing Navigator and the Interactive Dashboard.

Mark has led over 300 seminars, workshops and events with up to 400 participants. He has served on several national and international boards for business and associations.

He is certified in strategic business planning and integrated marketing from NAPL at Norris College/Northwestern University. He also majored in Environmental Studies and Philosophy at the University of California.

Mark is a 6th generation of Santa Cruz, CA; an Eagle Scout and currently leads seminars for Landmark Education. He has two adult children, and lives with his wife Gail in Aptos, CA.

Santa Cruz Women in Business hosts the Wake Up, Santa Cruz small-meeting networking series the first Thursday of each month. Wake Up, Santa Cruz is designed to create a more intimate atmosphere and an opportunity for teaching and learning.

Limited to 40 participants, the session also includes introductions and conversation. A light breakfast is served. The cost is $15 for SC Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Wake Up, Santa Cruz is organized by the Santa Cruz Chamber Women in Business committee but everyone is welcome, men included.
