Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce presents the River Arts Festival, an exciting annual festival celebrating Santa Cruz's rich cultural and natural resources.

It will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 16th and 17th, 2009 in the heart of Santa Cruz in the San Lorenzo Park.  Admission is FREE!

The park's bench lands will be transformed into the "Piazza di San Lorenzo", an aesthetic contemporary arts and crafts marketplace.

Located at the San Lorenzo Park on Dakota Ave.  Park at the Front St. parking structure and cross the San Lorenzo Bridge to the park

.Volunteers Needed

The Chamber needs volunteers for the Second Annual River Arts Festival (RAF) May 16 & 17. Community volunteers insure that RAF is a flawless, safe and inspirational event.

They help organize the event "infrastructure", assist the exhibitors, musicians, and activities as they set up and tear down, serve as hosts, direct traffic, sell beverage tickets, manage the wine garden, provide support at performance venues, relieve art exhibitors… all the things that administrative things that are necessary to a successful show.
